People on the internet love kittens and puppies , and to me a slider is like the puppy version of a burger. They are so cute and you just can't get enough of them - I can easily eat four. 

Sliders are great, they tend to have a better meat to bun ratio. The size of a slider means you can make them look more visually appealing than a standard burger . Each individual component should take up most of the bun. A pickle looks giant, a thinly sliced radish slightly pickled for a flash of colour and instead of onion you should give braised leek a try.

To braise the leeks, cut 1 cm thick pieces, put into an oven dish and drizzle with olive oil. Season and roast over 20-30 mins at 150 degrees. More pictures in the Gallery
